1. Name of Racing Club: The University Racing Club (the “Racing Club”)

2. Club Manager: The Racing Club will be managed by Max Russell and Oliver Greenall

3. Horse (s): The following horses are currently owned or leased by the Racing Club and will be trained to race for the Racing Club in accordance with (and subject to) these terms:

1) Le Beau Gosse

The horse can be sold at any time by the owner but a new horse will be found as soon as feasibly possible.

4. Membership Period: Membership of the Racing Club shall commence from the point of membership purchase. The term will run from 28/09/2025 until 28/04/2026. Members who join after prize money has been accrued will not be entitled to it. Please refer to the terms of service in regards to membership criteria.

5. Membership fee: The cost of membership will be £19.99. This is a one-off payment with no hidden fees during the membership term. BHA costs and racing expenses will come out of any prize money won before it is given to the members.

6. Membership Benefits: Each Member will receive the following benefits during their Membership Period:

a. a share of any prize money won by the Horse(s) in accordance with 

b. Access to Racing Manager

c. Access to Trainers via Racing Manager

d. Opportunity to see your horse run at the racecourse (tickets will be sourced as cheaply as possible but paid for by members - this is done to enable us to keep the membership fee to a minimum.)

e. Chance to win prizes in monthly competition, all included in cost of membership

7. Excluded Benefits: The Members shall have no entitlement to any rights or benefits relating to the Horse(s) other than the Membership Benefits expressly set forth above. Examples of benefits to which the Members will have no entitlement include the following:

a. any ownership rights in the Horse(s);

b. any income arising before or after their Membership Period;

c. any income generated by a Horse after it has been sold or otherwise transferred by the Racing Club;

d. any trophy awarded (or the value of any trophy awarded);

e. any Breeder prize or payment;

f. any rights in relation to any progeny of any of the Horses, or any breeding arrangement involving any of the Horses;

g. any income or revenue generated by the Racing Club that is unrelated to the Horse(s)

h. any sponsorship income relating to the Horse(s) or the Racing Club;

Any of the above Excluded Benefits which are received by the Racing Club shall be        retained by the Racing Club. The Members shall have no rights therein.

8. Trainer(s): Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Horse(s) will be trained by Greenall and Guerriero at Stockton Hall Farm, Oldcastle, Malpas

9. Intention with Horse(s): Run over hurdles and potentially in steeplechase races during the current 25/26 national hunt season

10. Minimum number of Horses: The Racing Club will endeavour to ensure that there will always be at least 1 horse in the Racing Club. If any Horse is retired or sold or dies during the Membership Period, the Racing Club will as soon as reasonably practicably seek to acquire a replacement horse for the Racing Club of broadly the same value as the Horse that was retired, sold or died.

11. Minimum value of Horses: “The Racing Club provides no guarantee that it will always spend a minimum amount on the acquisition of Horses in the Racing Club. If any Horse(s) are retired, sold or die it will be at the discretion of the Racing Club as to how much it spends on any replacement horse.”

12. Insurance: The horse is not insured against All Risks of Mortality (ARM). The Racing Club has chosen to accept this risk, acknowledging and agreeing that is any horse dies it will as soon as reasonably practicable seek to acquire a replacement horse for the Racing Club of broadly he same value as the Horse that died.

13. Maximum number of Members: The maximum number of Members at any one time shall be 4000.

14. Membership Communication: By purchasing a share you will automatically be admitted to the club community WhatsApp group. By selecting to receive marketing updates during checkout you will be signed up to the weekly newsletter which includes a monthly competition.

15. Club Bank Account: The Club will use a BHA direct debit account and the Manager will manage the club accounts and proceed a monthly spreadsheet with copies of the BHA statements to show the monthly costs. The authorised signatory to the bank account will be Max Russell.

16. Age restriction: You must be 18 years or older to join the Racing Club. Anyone who is found to be younger will have their membership terminated with immediate effect.
